At $59/month, ProposalPro costs less than one client booking and typically pays back in the first week. The calculator on our homepage lets you estimate your time savings based on your current proposal volume.

We'd reconsider if you're fully satisfied with their proposal module. Based on photographer forums, common complaints are generic templates, slow client portals, and feature overload that creates friction for simple bookings. ProposalPro is specifically built for the proposal-to-booking flow: AI generates tailored copy, templates reflect how photographers actually price (session hours, edited images, prints vs. digital), and the client portal is stripped of non-essential features. If you're only using the proposal features of a larger platform, a focused tool may reduce your overhead.

**Migration note:** You can export client data in CSV from most platforms and import into ProposalPro.

You retain full access to your proposals, templates, and client data during your subscription. Upon cancellation, we provide a 30-day window to export everything as PDF or CSV. We do not delete your account automatically. After 30 days, account data is deleted per our retention policy (available in the privacy policy).

Pro and Studio plans include a basic contract module with e-signature. However, ProposalPro is designed for proposals and quotes — it's not a contract management system. For photographers who need detailed contract workflows (milestone-based payments, liability clauses, retention terms), we recommend pairing with a dedicated contract tool and using ProposalPro for the pricing and booking front-end. Contracts can be attached as PDFs to proposals.

Yes. Templates are configurable for any shoot structure. We include specific fields for multi-location shoots, partial-day coverage, engagement sessions, and add-ons (second shooter, drone, prints). The AI generates proposal copy that reflects your package breakdown, not a one-size-fits-all template. Studio plan users can create custom templates with their specific pricing logic.

No setup fee on Starter or Pro plans. Studio plan includes a free 45-minute onboarding call to configure team seats, branding, and integrations. Self-serve onboarding covers template selection, branding upload, and your first proposal in under 10 minutes. Support docs and video walkthroughs are available immediately.

ProposalPro handles the proposal and booking confirmation. Payment processing is not included — we integrate with Stripe, PayPal, or your existing payment processor. This keeps our pricing low (no transaction fees) and lets you keep your existing payment setup. Clients see the proposal, select their package, and sign — then you're redirected to your payment link.

14 days, full Pro features, no credit card required. At the end of the trial, you choose a plan or your account moves to read-only (you can still view and export past proposals). We send reminders at day 7 and day 13. No auto-charge without explicit confirmation.
